Return to Work Rehabilitation


Alpha Rehabilitation offers a wide array of industrial Rehabilitation services from preventive measures to post injury. Our specialized team will individualize a program that will expedite return to work as well as positively impact future injury costs.

Return-to-work physical exams help to ensure that it’s safe for you to go back to work after an injury. If you’re not ready, they help determine when it would be right for you to return to work. This reduces your risk of getting injured again.

Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE)

FCEs help physicians, case managers, and other health care professionals make safe return-to-work and vocational recommendations. They tell you what you can safely do, and for how long. They also document any problems that may prevent you from returning to work or fully recovering. For your employer, they identify your safe working limits and give them information on how to modify your job after an injury or create new ergonomic solutions.


Pre-placement Screening/Post Offer employment Screenings (POET)

Post offer employment screenings assess if a patient is fit for the job they were offered, and identifies strengths and weakness to prevent future injury costs.


Post Injury Rehabilitation

We offer physical therapy for work related injuries. We understand the unique needs of the employee and the employer to return to work as soon as possible. We make recommendations based on performance based testing to assist with safe placement back into the work force.


Work Conditioning Program

This program assists the de-conditioned employee to improve strength, cardiovascular function, learn safe lifting patterns and postures for return to work. Work conditioning and injury rehabilitation addresses the physical and functional requirements for a patient’s successful return to work through flexibility, strength, endurance and coordination training.


Onsite Safety Education

An ergonomic assessment of a work station to better fit the employee to reduce the risk of injury and decrease future injury costs.
